How do I find internship opportunities that will be a fit for me?
Gemini offers both technical and non-technical internship opportunities. Review all of our opportunities on our site and ensure that you meet the criteria for the role. Please note, we consider all universities, colleges and majors!
What criteria should I assess when applying for an internship role?
When you are reviewing different opportunities, ensure that you are researching the company’s values, mission and growth. It is important that you invest your time at a place that places importance on similar values that you do.
Should I apply to more than one internship at Gemini?
While you are welcome to apply to multiple roles, please note that the open roles may have many openings on different teams. Please ensure that you are reviewing the roles completely and applying to those that you feel you can be successful.
What is the timeline of the internship program?
For Summer internships, positions will be available in late Fall through early Spring. The team will review resumes throughout the application process. The internship program will start in early June and run through mid August.
Do you need to move for an internship?
For the majority of our programs, you do not need to move for a role. Gemini has employees around the world. We want to extend the same opportunity to our internship roles. In the event there is a need to be in an office, it will be outlined clearly in the job description.
Do you need to pursue a degree to be considered for an internship role?
For our summer internship program, we are considering current students pursuing an associates, bachelors, masters or PHD. In addition to our summer program, we will be running additional programs in the future for emerging talent that fall outside the above criteria.
Who can I reach out to for an update on my application?
Gemini receives thousands of applications for our intern opportunities. We appreciate your patience in advance. You should receive either a move forward or regret communication from our team.
What’s the overall interview process?
The interview process will vary based on position. For a technical position, please anticipate a standard technical assessment as well as 1-2 virtual interviews. For a non-technical position, please anticipate 2-3 virtual interviews. This is subject to change and the team will outline the process if you are selected to move forward with the interview.
How long after I apply will I hear back from the recruiting team?
As mentioned, we will do our best to reach out with an update as best we can in 1-2 months.
How long does the hiring process take?
This will vary based on the position. This year, our goal is to hire all interns by February for a Summer start date.
Are internships paid?
Yes, Gemini competitively pays all of our interns as well as provides perks throughout the summer including Gemini swag, lunches and potential travel!
How long will my internship last?
Our summer internship program will be 11 weeks long. This will be based on the business need and intern performance.
